Bio

Jacara Terry is a current master's student in the College of Education's Child and Family Development Program on the thesis track. Prior to graduate school, she worked full-time in health equity research, driven by their passion for engaging in research that combines mental health, public health, policy, and community engagement. As such, she is thrilled to be working in the CORE lab and looks forward to continuing to enhance her research-related skills and competencies. Following their current program, Jacara hopes to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology. When not in the lab, Jacara enjoys spending time with her one-eyed cat, long drives for ube ice cream, and knitting blankets for friends.
