Sydney is a third-year undergraduate student at San Diego State University majoring in Psychology with an emphasis in Neuroscience and minoring in Child Development. She is interested in how early childhood environments and inequities influence psychological development and outcomes in children and adolescents.
She has been involved in the CORE Lab since last semester and is excited to continue contributing to the research. Her prior experiences as a research assistant and clinical psychology intern have shaped her goal of pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with the long-term aim of integrating research and clinical work to support youth development.
